Months after trying to find a job in the United States, Indian student Ananya Joshi was forced to leave the country recently. Joshi, who was publicly participating in the search for a work in LinkedIn and Instagram, published a farewell note as she travels on September 29. Joshi went to the United States for its Master of Biotechnology at the University of North Western, and graduated in 2024.

Soon after, it joined the start of biotechnology in the optional practical training program F-1-a temporary work permit for international students. But the company’s layoffs at the company level cost it the job, leaving it only a few months to find another role.

Once again in June, I made it clear in the LinkedIn post: “I have been accelerated from the previous league as part of reducing the size of the company. I am not looking for my next chance … there is some urgency for this because my Opt STEM watch is knocking, and I need to secure a role next month to stay in the United States.”

Although applying for roles and networks, Joshi was unable to secure another position. On Sunday, she posted a video of her journey outside the country, calling “the most difficult step on this trip.” “Although I accepted my realist, nothing could have prepared me today.”

In her note, Joshi wrote about the country’s intention: “America was my first house as a financially independent person and that will always be a special thing for me. Although the age is short, I really appreciate the life that America gave me, I love you.”

Soon her post addressed people’s reactions online.

One of them commented: “Crying is very real, I felt it too, it will miss you, you remain strong and do not forget that there is a lot in the world that is still retreating!”

Another added: “My daughters will flourish Bob! Wait there! Keep your arms open for any possible chance!”

“I just returned from the United States after staying there for 5 years and I was in New York, and I am still unable to recover from this pain. It is difficult,” one of the third users commented.

One of the fourth users wrote: “More strength for you !!
