Zoho Sridhar Vembu’s founder took to X to dismantle a wave of wrong information about Arattai’s correspondence, its data practices, and global operations – the Zoho identity is granted as a truly Indian technical company.

“There is a lot of wrong information that we want to correct,” VEMBU started, before putting a point after another how Zoho and Arthtai and where are user data found.

The most amazing revelation: Aratai does not work on AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud. Instead, all services work on Zoho’s tools and programs, designed on open source work frameworks such as Linux and postgres.

While some general cloud services are used to accelerate regional traffic by switching the contract, VEMBU explained that the user data is not stored on it.

This discrimination is essential amid increasing concerns about digital sovereignty and reliance on cloud in the technology ecosystem in India.

VEMBU reiterated that the entire Zoho products group, including ARATTAI, was developed in India, with the company’s international headquarters in Chennai. Zoho pays taxes in India on its global income, although there is a large presence in the United States and offices in more than 80 countries.

He said that the Indian user data is accurately hosted inside India – ACROSS Data Centers in Mumbai, Delhi and Chinai, with a new one in Odisha. “We are committed to hosting the data of each country in its own competence,” he wrote.

In the processing of confusion on the Zoho App Store lists, VEMBU explained that the developer account still shows an American address because it was prepared in the first days by an employee in the United States testing platforms. “We have never changed that,” he pointed out, and his rejection as a non -relevant technical.

The VEMBU Publisher was clarifying and reaffirming the long -term Zoho philosophy: possessing the entire technology staple and expanding its scope worldwide without prejudice to control or sovereignty.

“We are proud” in India, and made for the world ” – and we mean that,” it happened.
