The immigration treatment center outside Chicago was a site of aggressive tactics by federal agents, as well as repeated protests.

Portland goes to court

In Oregon, Democratic Prosecutor Dan Rivild submitted a request to the Federal Court on Monday in an effort to temporarily prevent the Trump administration from deploying the National Guard.

The proposal is part of a lawsuit filed on Sunday, after the state leaders received the memorandum of the Ministry of Defense, which said that 200 members of the National Guard of the state will be placed under 60 -day federal control “to protect federal property, in sites where protests occur against these jobs or may happen.”

The mayor of Portland Keith Wilson and Democratic Ruler Tina Kotik is among the local leaders who object to publishing.

“The placement of our army in our streets is the abuse of power and the abolition of our societies and members of our service,” Rivild said in a statement on Monday.

The ice building outside the city center in Portland has been the site of the night protests that reached its climax in June, with smaller clashes since then.

Andrew Zhang is divided into how Trump’s framing these protests as an emergency – along with everything from the trade deficit to fentanel – exists as part of a greater pattern of judgment by an executive order unwanted.

A larger crowd in the building showed Sunday. Two people were arrested, according to the authorities. The police said this followed a peaceful march earlier in the day that attracted thousands to the city center and did not see any arrests.

Some residents are already frustrated.

“The effects of violent tactics, including tear gas and jokes late at night, are shocked for residents,” said the construction of the affordable housing complex next to the Ice building, including the old warriors who live there.

“Sending federal forces will not escalate the situation except. The last thing we need is an escalation,” he said in the statement.

Some of the Latin people, including Latin, are still expressing fears that immigration agents will detain people regardless of the migration.
