The Aviation Group targets administrative roles through digitization and automation by 2030

German aviation group Luffhansa reduces 4000 administrative jobs over the next five years as it seeks to raise profitability.

By 2030, Lufthansa, which runs the German Luftanza Air brand, along with other airlines such as Swiss Airlines, Austrian airlines and Brussels, plans to reduce 4000 administrative jobs through digitization, automation and unifying operations.

The majority of the roles affected will be based in Germany and will focus on administrative roles, not operational situations.

Spirit Airlines warns that it may not survive another year

The company stated in note that it reaffirmed its goal of restructuring its organizational and operational framework to simplify cooperation and redefine internal responsibilities.

The company said in the observation: “The goal is to achieve the closest and most network of networks between the group’s jobs and airlines in order to benefit from synergy and increase efficiency.”
