JLR wins 1.5 billion pounds a loan from the UK government, where Cyber-Catsk stops production and strikes jobs

Britain will return to Jaguar Land Rover with a 1.5 billion pounds loan (2 billion dollars) to support its supply chain after it forced an electronic luxury car maker to stop production for about a month.

The owned Tata Motors, which builds about 1,000 cars per day through three factories in the United Kingdom, was struggling to keep the suppliers standing on his feet. Some smaller companies warned that they were just days away from running out of money, as others cut hours or lay off the employees.

Business Minister Peter Kyle described the penetration “not only the attack on a distinctive British brand, but on the leading auto sector in the world,” adding, “This loan guarantee will help support the supply chain and protect skilled jobs.”

Support will be provided through a guaranteed commercial bank loan through export financing in the United Kingdom, the Credit Agency for Export in Britain, and a payment over five years. The government expects the procedure to open 1.5 billion pounds as support for the supply chain.

The attack earlier this month disrupted JLR operations not only in the UK but also in Slovakia, Brazil and India, where the wider ecosystem was provided. The work government was weighing weeks to alleviate the repercussions of suppliers, some of whom sent workers to the house or waiting for late payments.

JLR 34,000 in the UK hires 120,000 other jobs related to the supply chain around Birmingham, the second largest city in Britain, and Liverpool.

The electronic attack on Jaguar Land Rover was forced earlier this month the automotive maker to stop production through multiple locations, including its factories in the United Kingdom, Slovakia, Brazil and India, causing severe disturbance in the global supply chain. The attack, which is still under investigation, main systems of paralyzing and leaving some suppliers are unable to operate or receive payments, which leads to job cuts and cash flow crises between young sellers.

Although JLR did not publicly reveal the nature or origin of the breach, the repercussions highlighted the weaknesses of the digital infrastructure of the auto sector and prompted a rapid government intervention to contain the economic impact.
