MGM China warned of Deepfake’s video impersonating the executive director to promote the investment fraud.

The video reinforces a fake investment plan, and those who “invest” promise that they will get “hundred times revenues” for their money.
The company explained that any videos or notifications in this sense are fraudulent and there is no such plan.

MGM China requested both the public and the media to stay in a state of alert for any similar messages, and advised them to act only on the information verified through official channels. The company also issued an appeal to other channels to stop the posting of the DeepFake video and any claims related to it.
