Brazil employed more than any other country in the world, with approximately 6 million in total, according to official figures. About 91 percent of these nannies, chefs and detergents are women and 67 percent of blacks. But the majority of these women – victims of modern slavery – are paid daily and have no employment contract or social security coverage. Some of them end up with prostitution.
