YouTube has recently announced the concealment of pop -up recommendations that appear at the end of the videos. Now when you see an end screen, you can click on a new “hide” button in the upper upper corner of the video player to hide the popups from the current video you are watching.
The definition of this button will not only hide the final screens for the current video you are watching, and not for all videos on the articles of association, as the company notes. If you want to re -screen, you can click the “Show” button.
The decision to allow users to hide the final screens is a welcome addition to the statute, especially as they may end up covering the last part of the video and makes it difficult to see what is happening in some cases.
The company also announced that it removes the subscription button that appears when the index hovered on a video mark with a video mark. YouTube explains that it is doing this because there is already a subscription button directly below the video player.
YouTube says it launches new features in response to user comments, as many people said they want the option to reduce deviations on videos, and to be easier to focus on the content they are currently watching.
For creators, YouTube notes that they still have the option to add end screens to the videos. The company expects these changes to have little impact on creators’ performance and number of display on the statute.
For example, YouTube has found in an experience that gives users the option to hide the final screens led to a decrease of less than 1.5 % in views of the final screens. In addition, it was found that less than 0.05 % of all channels subscriptions come from the Hover function to Subscripe on the aquatic video mark.
