The problem with this is that the film is more interesting when Pelly must struggle while hiding his evil side. Watching a killer denies as a cute and normal man gives the movie some risks and drama. Once the curtain is again withdrawing on its real motives, everything that disappears, and any kind of mystery or tension becomes only around the killing.

And, with a horror movie, it should be fine. but Silent night, fatal night Never dazzle us with her violence or ghost. It is only there. Billy sneaks around him, kills someone and returns to his day. One scene emerges as you wander with an activity of Billy against a certain group of characters, but for the largest part, the killings are a kind of fast, easy and boring.

Unfortunately, it becomes the entire film tone. The film tries to kill Pelly, try to hide it from Pamela, then change slowly as well. He is going on the idea that seeing a person kills people like Santa Claus with enough anxes, especially if there is a very loose story around her with a hint of the personality motive. But it is not. It becomes very fast, especially since Campbell plays every aspect of his personality completely. Modine brings life and loved ones to Pamela, which is welcome, but it is rarely given a lot to do it. Things become more interesting at the end when a large puzzle is wrapped, but at this point, it is difficult to tolerate everything that happened before.

I haven’t seen the original version before Silent night, fatal night (I know, I know), so it is impossible for me to compare the two. What I can do is to say that this new version has some good ideas in it, one of the viewers or two decent, but it was very familiar and monotonous to persuade it. If there is anything, it made me want to see the original finally, just to see how far this was away from the center should be disappointing.
