The Duchess of York Epstein, “the Supreme Friend”, invites an email back to appear

Two newspapers published an email that was said to be sent by the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, to the children Jeffrey Epstein, describing him as a “supreme friend” – despite his conviction of sexual crimes.

The Sun and the Mail said on Sunday that, since 2011, the email was sent weeks after the Duchess had publicly distanced from itself from the disgraceful financier.

A spokeswoman for the Duchess – the former wife of Prince Andrew, Duke of York – said that the email was facing a threat made by Epstein to sue her on charges of defamation.

In an interview in 2011, the Duchess said that her participation with Epstein was “a mistake in the ruling.”

At that time, the Duchess also promised that she would have no relationship with Epstein again, saying: “I serve children in sexual assault on children.”

She added: “I cannot remember more strongly that I know a terrible and terrible mistake in the ruling, and I have anything to do with Jeffrey Epstein. What I did was wrong and that was truly imprisoned.”

Epstein was imprisoned three years ago on charges of seeking prostitution from a minor.

But Sun and Mail said on Sunday shortly after the interview in 2011, the Duchess of Epstein was sent to Ebstein to say that she did not use the word “sexual children” in reference to it.

She wrote: “As you know, I did not do, certainly no, say” the word “about you, but I understood that it was reported that I did that.”

“I know you feel that I was very fooling me. I have always been a fixed, generous and higher friend for me and my family.”

A spokesman for the Duchess said that the email was sent after Epstein was threatened to sue it on charges of defamation – in an attempt to persuade him not to do so.

They said: “The Duchess spoke about its regret about its association with Epstein several years ago, and as it was always, her first ideas are with his victims.”

“Like many people, it was taken in his lies. Once she was familiar with the extent of allegations against him, she not only interrupted him, but also condemned him, to the extent that he threatened to sue him on charges of defaming him by linking him with old age.”

The spokeswoman added that the Duchess stood, along with her general conviction for Ibstein.

“She does not help anything she said at the time. This email was sent in the context of the advice that the Duchess gave to an attempt to calm Epstein and his threats.”

Epsin, a well -connected and condemned financier, was found dead in 2019 while awaiting sex trafficking in New York.
