The trailer for Season 3 of The Reacher showcases the best villain in the entire series

We call it a clash of the titans. Throughout the first two seasons of Prime Video’s streaming series “Reacher,” Alan Ritchson’s character encountered some of the worst scum of the Earth imaginable — all of whom ended up regretting crossing paths with the walking talking tank. However, for the upcoming third season, more of the same just won’t do the trick. It’s been a long time coming for an upgrade when it comes to enemies, and our vigilante hero may have finally met his match.

Reacher Season 3 has finally arrived, and with it a hulking mass of muscle that somehow makes it Ritchson, the scene-stealing star of “Ministry of Indecent Warfare” and many othersIt looks quite small. Based on the seventh book in author Lee Child’s incredibly popular “Compelling” novel series, this upcoming installment promises to be bigger and badder than ever. This is thanks to the addition of Olivier Richters as new evil henchman Paulie, a giant of a man with a bad punch and an even worse temper. Today, Amazon released a stunning new trailer to give fans an in-depth look at what’s to come in Reacher’s latest adventure… and, folks, it looks like a mess.

It’s Reacher versus Bigger Reacher – that’s it, that’s the premise. Honestly, with simple, wonderful ideas like these, It’s no wonder the Prime Video series continues to become a ratings powerhouse And I mean that completely without a snork. Sometimes, we end up writing about shows like “Yellowstone” and its empire of spin-offs that make us wonder what made them so popular. (I don’t mean to speak for anyone else, but I’ve never met someone in the wild who actually watches these shows.) Other times, well, the gravity is right there on the surface and anyone can see it. “Al-Wasil” largely belongs to this latter category.

Season 3 arrives just over a year after the well-received Season 2 (As you can see by the positive review of /Film at the time here), but with a promise to raise the stakes significantly this time. We’ve known for a while that Season 3 will adapt Jack Reacher’s best bookalthough nothing could prepare us for the carnage on display in this new trailer. Arm wrestling contests, dry conversations, and explosions all await viewers who are now hooked on the series. For its part, Amazon describes the new season as simply “Reacher must go undercover to rescue an informant held captive by a haunting enemy from his past,” a succinctness our often-saved main character would wholeheartedly agree with.

“Reacher” comes from lead creative developer and showrunner Nick Santora, and stars Ritchson as Reacher, alongside Maria Steen as Frances Negley, Reacher’s best friend (who will also be the focus of a planned spinoff series), Sonia Cassidy as Susan Duffy, and Anthony Michael. Hall as Zachary Peck, Brian Tee as Quinn, Olivier Richers as Paulie, and more. The new season will premiere on Prime Video on February 20, 2025.
