The Liverpool coach, Arne Slot, says he has no choice headache after Hugo ICICIC, the Mercyside Derby winner at the expense of Alexander Isak.

The summer signature of 125 million pounds from Newcastle was deported to the bench against Everton, where it was handed over a short veil in the closing stages of the game.

His place was taken by Ekitike, who got the second goal in the afternoon after Ryan Gravenberch put the host side to the front after 10 minutes.

The performance of both players raised questions about who will be the starting striker under a hole, as Liverpool moved to five victories from five in the Premier League.

He spoke after the match, he said: “There is no headache at all. These two players are very happy because we are both.

“They both know that it is very difficult to play three times 90. Hugo is 21 years old, and comes to a new severity league.

“You can see people who are used to – Virgil, Ryan, Mo. But for new people, you can see it more difficult.

“Performance in the first half. We always knew how difficult it is, three games in seven days, early on Saturday.

“You can also see the effect of this. The first half when we were new, do not believe in how we play. In the second half, you have to give credit in Everton but you can see that we are (energy loss).”

Granting Grafenbrch

Slot was unable to finish his press conference without praising Gravenberch, who also eventually assisted the winner.

When asked if he was continuing to improve, he said: “If I say better, this means that there is room for improvement last season.

“Both goals targeted the same area, as we had two players at a higher pace to enter these situations.”
