President Voludmir Zelinski said on Saturday that Russia fired a major attack on a drone and missiles on Ukraine, killing three people, wounding dozens of infrastructure and harmful residential buildings.
Despite diplomatic efforts to find ways to end the war that started when Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, fighting has intensified in recent months.
In a statement on the Telegram messaging application, Zelenskyy said that Russia has launched about 580 drones and 40 missiles targeting infrastructure, civil industrialization companies and residential areas in different parts of the country. The Air Force in Ukraine said the air defenses dropped 552 drones and 31 missiles.
Russia intimidates civilians, says Zelenskyy
“Throughout the night, Ukraine was under a massive attack by Russia,” Zelinski said. “All this strike is not a military necessity, but it is a deliberate strategy from Russia to terrorize civilians and destroy our infrastructure.”
Russia denies targeting Ukrainian civilians.
In the center of Dnibro, a missile was struck with anchoring apartment residential building.

Regional officials said that someone was killed and at least 26 people were wounded in Dnibro.
Regional officials said that two people were also killed in the Chirnhif region in the north and the Khomeelitesky area in the west of the country.
Reuters could not independently verify the battlefield reports.
“I was able to hear the” Shahid “(drones) approaching more and more. I understood that he was flying towards us. My child and I were very afraid.”
“It should not happen in the twenty -first century. We are all people. We agree … sitting at the negotiating table.”
Kyiv faces the increasing pressure in eastern Ukraine, where Russian forces continue their destroyed progress, destroyed villages and towns and demanding new lands.
Both sides raise drone attacks
To strike the Ukrainian cities away from the confrontation line, it seems that Russia has changed its tactics and now launches hundreds of drones in one blow, compared to dozens of war early on the war.
Ukraine usually responds to drone strikes on its own, with the aim of reaching Russian territory in a deeper way, hitting refineries, fuel warehouses and logistics centers.
The Ukrainian General Staff said that Ukraine struck Russian oil refineries in Saratov and Samara in the attacks overnight, causing explosions and fires.
“With regard to the Copy, we have drones, and we know how to produce them. All this depends on the number of drones that we use daily,” Zelinski told reporters.

“Once the number of drones is similar to the number of Russians, they will feel it in terms of fuel deficiency and the number of waiting lists at gasoline stations.”
The Russian Ministry of Defense said that its forces carried out high -precision weapons strikes on the Ukrainian military industrial facilities overnight.
The Polish military leadership said that Polish planes and allies were also deployed early on Saturday to ensure the safety of the Polish air space after some Russian air strikes western Ukraine targeted near the border with NATO member Poland.
