The new Senne Lammens for Manchester United faced some doubts from inside his family about his decision to move to Old Trafford, where his brother suggested that Galatasarai may have been the best option.
The 21 -year -old goalkeeper has completed a key to UNITED for 21 million euros in addition to additional jobs. But his older brother Tom Lammam-who plays with the Borbic team in the Belgian League-admitted that he was not convinced of the move.
“There is a lot of quality, playing with prizes there (in Galatasaray), and Sen may immediately make his mark in the Champions League,” Tom told the Belgian port Nieuwsblad.
“I was initially skeptical of moving to United, because many players who have already surrendered to pressure and were unable to reach their full potential.”
Robin Amorem, the coach of the United team, left the Swiss Derby bench at the end of last week, and instead chose to start Altay Bayindir in the 3-0 defeat against Manchester City.
Despite his reservations, Tom admitted that the last option was his brother: “In the end, it was Sen who had to make a decision.
“United gave him the best feeling. Partially because Tony Couton, the scout in United, was following him for about a year and was very convinced of his qualities.
“It will also be great for the club to return to its previous glory and if Sen is to contribute to it.”
The Manchester United season started badly, with only one of the four opening matches. They will look to the apostasy when they face Chelsea on Saturday.
