Costco remember PROSECCO bottles vulnerable to suddenly shattered without warning

Costo said that non -open bottles can be shattered even when they are not treated or used. The company said that customers should wrap any non -open bottles in paper towels and put them in a plastic bag before disposing of them to avoid any risk of broken glass.

Costco did not respond on Tuesday when I asked the Associated Press if there were any injuries reported due to the problem. The company also did not say the number of affected bottles sold or how the company discovered the problem.

The Associated Press also left a message seeking a comment with Ethica Wines, the Miami -based company, which imported the affected wines from Italy.
