France Flanker Axelle Berthoumieu will lose the World Cup semi -finals against England after banning 12 games for AOFE Wever in the quarter -finals on Sunday.

Berthoumieu faced a disciplinary session on Monday after he was martyred in the incident that occurred in the second half of France’s victory 18-13 against Ireland.

France had stormed from 13-0 to the first half in the first half to reserve its place in the last four, but the result quickly overwhelmed her when shots appeared to appear to show the Bathomo arm of the Wi-Afver during the collapse.

Wafer was seen talking to Aimee Barrtt-THeron, indicating her arm and indicating that she was bitten.

Captain Ireland, Sam Monagan later confirmed that it had sparked this issue with officials, although no action was taken during the match.

“I spoke to power,” Monaghan said. “Aoife told me. I didn’t see it myself, but I spoke to the ruling and asked them.”

France was also martyred in the second row of Manai Felio after the match he received from three games. The 25 -year -old girl is scheduled to resume the length of her suspension alongside Pathomo on September 16.

A statement by the global shadow wrote: “The Independent Play Review Committee (FPRC) to consider complaints against Axel Berthomeo (Law 9.12, biting) and Manai Felio (Law 9.13, dangerous treatment) after the victory of the World Cup for Rajabi in France 2025 over Ireland on September 14.

“FPRC, headed by Brenda Heather Lato (Samoa), to which Offa Tonu’u (New Zealand) and Valerio Toma (Romania) joined, reviewed the cases and suggested a penalty of 12 games for the Berthoumieu program and a three -game penalty for Felio (reduced to two when completing the successful training program).

“Felio did not accept the proposed penalty from the FPRC and a disciplinary committee will hear its appeal. With regard to Portho, while the player accepted that the procedure justifies the red card, the proposed length of the punishment will be resumed and it will now be heard by a disciplinary committee.

“Listening sessions are scheduled to be held temporarily for Tuesday, September 16th.”

The semi -finals between England and France will be held on Saturday in Bristol at 3:30 pm, as New Zealand played Canada in the first semi -finals on Friday evening.
