Ange Postecoglou has reduced talk about an immediate shift in philosophy in Nottingham Forest and insists that it will be an evolution instead of the revolution in the city.

Postecoglou was named as a successor to Nuno Espirito Santo on Tuesday Forest is responsible for the first time on Saturday when they visit Arsenal.

It will be a quick return to the northern London to the Australians, which Tottenham rejected in June, shortly after their leadership to the European League title.

There is no quick transition to “AngeBall”

Postecoglou is famous for a comprehensive attacking style, characterized by a high defensive line and a high motivation, in a blatant contradiction with the most pragmatic Nuno.

In light of this, Forest does not have players to implement the Postecoglou tactics, and the former Celtic president accepts that it will take some time to get his ideas.

He said: “It is a familiar area for me. Similar to when I took over in Spears … but three games in. It will be a gradual process. Nuno was moving to something different. But we are all different. It is just a matter of making it smooth as possible.”
