European Ladies Tour: Nadia Itorius denies Charlie Hall to win Aramco Houston Championship | Golf news

Noria Itorius resisted from Spain’s charge from Charlie Hall from England to win the Aramco Houston Championship.

Hall gave herself an excellent opportunity by wrapping in the category of five individuals, but she had to settle to get a second place alongside his compatriot Carlota Siganda in Ituriroz in 11 under equality.

The couple eventually finished two shots behind Ituriroz at Golfcrest Country Club, with the 29 -year -old bird three of the last five of the five holes to demand the title of a fifth European -women round.

Itorius was keen to thank Cadi David Floyd for the hard work he put to help her end the drought that extends to the summer of 2023.

“I am really happy! I am really happy because this cup. Thank you very much for everything,” said Itorose. “With Caddy, we were working a lot throughout the year, and we have made there several times, but this victory is also dedicated to it.

“I was really looking to win this PIF series. I won as part of the team before. It is really unique to do it here in the United States knowing that I was trying to reach LPGA and know that I can play these courses well.”

The fifth victory in a tour is taking from her 29 -year -old teammate, who was playing in her first championship, where she left her curbing damage to the ankle.

As a winner twice in Houston previously, the 10th world was full of trust and got three shots in the first three holes.

The European Women’s Tour is heading to Switzerland for the VP Bank Swiss Ladies at Golfpark Holzhausern, which lasts from 11 to 13 September, while the LPGA round to Ohio is heading to the Kroger Queen City championship in TPC River’s Bend.
