BCCI opens bidding to the TEAM India Shepherd team after the exit of Dream11, Bars Crypto, Games Companies

The Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) has officially opened requests to sponsor the Indian National Cricket Team, and called for price offers from the “famous companies” interested in securing rights. The document of expression of interest (EOI) will be available from September 2, with the final date for the application on September 16.

In addition, BCCI explained that certain types of companies are explicitly prohibited from submission. After the 2025 online games law, which prohibits online money platforms in India, BCCI ruled out Crypto companies and online gaming companies from the sponsorship group. Last month, DREAM11 came out of the sponsor of the Indian cricket team after Parliament approved the promotion and organization of the online games law. BCCI also banned alternative brands, preventing companies from offering bids indirectly through a brand, entity or other logo. Any attempt to use alternative identities or deceptive representation will be shown to overcome restrictions.

These measures guarantee that the main care rights remain compatible with government regulations while opening opportunities for qualified companies and good reputation outside the banned sectors.

Final dates

BCCI called for bids from the established companies and the good reputation for the rights of the main sponsor of the national team. To facilitate this, BCCI has issued an invitation to express interest (IEOI), and to determine the detailed conditions and provisions for giving and evaluating bids. IEOI will be provided to the relevant parties when paying non -refundable fees worth 5,00,000 Indian rupees (five rupees of Cham), as well as any tax on the goods and services in force (GST).

Dream11 signed a $ 44 million deal (about 358 rupees) with BCCI, which extends from 2023 to 2026.
