Erik Ten Hag described his dismissal from Bayer Leverkusen as “unprecedented” and claimed that he was “never” given the confidence he needed after his dismissal only three games in his term.
The former Manchester United coach signed a two -year deal in the summer to Xabi Alonso, who left for Real Madrid.

Ten Hag thanked Leverkusen supporters in his statement, but they concluded: “I feel that this was never a relationship that depends on mutual trust.
