Aston Villa explores a deal on the deadline of Manchester United striker Gadon Sancho.
United prefers a permanent deal, however, it is understood that current discussions are focused on a loan.
Sancho entered the last year of its contract, where United held the option of expansion for another year.
The 25 -year -old was signed for 73 million pounds from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021.
Last season, he spent loan in Chelsea, but returned to United after West London paid a penalty of 5 million pounds to get out of their commitment to buy it.
Chelsea held talks to re -negotiate Sancho’s salary to suit the wage structure but was unable to reach an agreement.
Sky Sports News I mentioned this summer that Rome, Naples and Juventus showed interest in the attacker. However, the moves failed to transport, with a current opportunity to stay in Sancho in United after the deadline on Monday.
There was also an interest from Türkiye and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with transport windows closed on September 11 and 12, respectively.
If Sancho secured a loan transfer to a villa, he will follow the footsteps of Marcus Rashford after spending the second half of last season on loan in Midlands.
Sancho can follow BluePrint Rashford in Villa
Sky Sports’ Patrick Rowe:
“Marcus Rashford made a decision to leave Manchester United to work with Unai Emery – and he is now firmly in the image of England and is currently working alongside Lamal Yamal in Barcelona.
“Jadon Sancho has not gone in the Premier League to plan so far, but Emery knows a player when he sees one.
“This is the perfect step for both the player and a team that currently lacks spark in the last third.
“Three goals and four passes were in 31 games while on loan in Chelsea last season as a modest return, but it is difficult to score the way to the enlarged Enzo Marisca team.
“In Villa, Sancho will have a regular time in the game, European football and a manager regularly that he can get the best players.
“The loan deal can help all parties.
