Lord Ko said: “Maybe I can say that we are hitting about 90 percent, and perhaps a little more now, and the goal has always been to test these athletes,” said Lord Ko.

“The goal is to make sure that by the time we have the tournament, they will all be tested. But the timeline was narrow. We knew it.

“Athletes support this greatly and were very useful in all of this. Member federations were very supportive and we needed to take the most effective test.”

Member federations are initially responsible for providing a SRY test – for example, in the UK, British/British athletics are the ones that oversee tests.

Lord Ko, head of athletics in the world, says that the ruling body will do “everything necessary” to protect the female category in this sport after he agreed to enter the scourge to determine whether a female athlete is biological.

In France, the process was complicated by French law. SRY test test is illegal in France due to the 1994 law that prohibits the DNA test for non -medical and non -judicial purposes to protect family safety, so French athletes were forced to conduct a SRY test by traveling outside France.
