His lawyer told a federal judge on Wednesday that Kilmar Abrago Garcia, whose case has enveloped many immigration agenda in US President Donald Trump’s steel line, was about asylum in the United States.
Abro Garcia, 30, was held on Monday by American Customs and Immigration (ICE) in Baltimore after leaving Tennessee prison on Friday. The Trump administration said it intends to deport it to the African country in Uganda.
Administration officials said it is part of the dangerous MS-13 gang, a claim denied by Abyerigo Garcia.

Request for asylum in 2019
The United States’s immigration judge denied his request to take asylum in 2019 because he applied for more than a year of his escape to the United States.

Abro Garcia’s lawyers filed a federal lawsuit to ensure his ability to exercise a constitutional protected right to fight deportation. American boycott judge Paula Xinis in Maryland, which supervises the lawsuit, ruled that the United States government could not remove Abyerigo Garcia from the country with the appearance of the lawsuit.
