Democrats in the House of Representatives urge the Trump administration to allow children with Gaza during Israel’s war To enter the United States for Medical Care in Emergency Cases.

The message comes after the Ministry of Foreign Affairs suddenly announced earlier this month that it would stop issuing travel visas for people from Gaza, including human medical visas, while it reviewed the process that allowed some of these individuals to enter the United States, some have already done so before stopping.
“All visitor visas for individuals from Gaza are stopped during a full and comprehensive review of the operation and the procedures used to issue a small number of temporary human medical visas in recent days,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on August 16.
Rubio said that the change took place after many Congress offices have communicated with allegations that “some organizations are proud, and participate in obtaining these visas have strong ties with terrorist groups such as Hamas.”

The message requires Rubio to determine the national security concerns that sparked the change in visa approvals. Legislators also requested a schedule for the agency review and asked about the guarantees that are considered to prevent the disruption of medical care programs in emergency situations.
Democrats also called on the administration to allow children from Gaza to need to take a look at the medical emergency from temporary suspension.
“We will appreciate any clarification on the basis of politics and reassessing its impact on individuals and vulnerable families in urgent need,” says the message.
