The United States will look forward to continuing home dominance in the Rider Cup next month, but has the discussion on the role of Captain Kejan Bradley helped the United States of America to find an advanced shape on Bethpage Black?

“It is an American team that has found a great deal of shape in the past four weeks. Four or five weeks ago, we have been much more than we are in the place where the American team was.

“They are in a better place than they were four or five weeks ago and I think there is little energy towards them, because of this debate. It gives them energy, it gives fuel, it creates a lot of discussion in the media and creates a lot of discussion in the public.

“This is all positive when you play at home, because you want to knock the fire and want people’s feelings on the high field. I think all of these things raise feelings and this will be a big part of what Kegan will try to do in terms of playing the crowd.”

Patrick Canaley strengthened his chances of choosing the captain with a second end in the round championship, where Cameron Young – who won a penetration victory in the Winddam championship – achieved a share of fourth place and was among nine American players in the best 11.

About whether the possibility of a playing role for Bradley was subjected to potential players in the United States of America, Mac Jinley added: “There is no evidence that it was so. “We look at the Rider Cup this completely differently from what we did before in terms of the external match and the preparation left no stone unchanged,” McChenley insisted. “We know the size and difficulty of what we face in New York.

“America will be strong – don’t let anyone deceive you to believe that they will not be strong. They will only be strong. It is a very national crowd. It is a very national captain. It will be a very noisy atmosphere.

“It is crowds in New York at its best and there is nothing worse than it will be very difficult, so we must be in our game completely. We are trying to come in this match in a completely different way from any game outside it before.”
