“Slap on our face”: foreigners of Gurugram streets, internet users flow on local indifference and filth

A group of foreign citizens moved to the streets of Gurugram on Sunday, which led to a community -based cleaning initiative to remove roads and banks throughout the city.

Lazar, a Serbian citizen, urged the residents to own the areas directly around their homes and stores. He said: “Everyone should keep the area two meters from their home or store clean. We can do it a lot for our country,” adding: “India is amazing. The only problem is that people also need to pay attention to the things outside their home.”

After launching his campaign just 10 days ago, Lazar said that he had previously participated in smaller cleaning engines through Tamil Nadu, Bangalore and Richech. “But the moment things are related to their home, they think they are not their case. We have to change that,” he pointed out.

Another volunteer, Matilda from France, chanted similar feelings. “India is amazing. I love this country. But it is very sad that sometimes there is a lot of garbage everywhere.”

Equipped the online traction engine clips, which led to sharp criticism of Gurugram waste management. One of the users wrote: “A disgrace to the Indian government and every Indian throws garbage on the side of the road.” “It is an embarrassing matter for both the government and the municipality,” another comment. “This is actually a slap on our face. Their efforts come at a time when the Haryana government reaffirmed its focus on urban hygiene. Earlier in July, the chief of secretary TVsn Prasad directed the officials to develop implementable plans based on the inputs of citizens during a meeting with the prominent Gurugram residents.
