In a social publication of the truth, President Donald Trump called for a review of the museums of Smithsonian institutions, and criticized their depiction of our history as “terrible” and they say they focus a lot on “how bad slavery.” The White House says it is expected to complete the review process in early 2026, before celebrating the 250 anniversary of the country.
The BBC went to the National Museum of American -African History and Culture in Washington, DC, to ask visitors about the President’s comments and their experience in the exhibits at home.
