A Columbia University The student was among the five people who were killed on Friday when a tourist bus dating out of Niagara waterfalls erupted along a countryside of the 90th highway from New York State through New York State, according to the authorities.
In a statement to Fox News Digital, Colombia University said it is sad for the death of Xie Hongzhuo, 22, from Beijing, China, who was a student in New York City.
“This tragic loss feels deep through our society,” she wrote a spokeswoman in a statement. “We are in close contact with her family and offer them our full support … … our thoughts and deepest sympathy for her family, friends and all who were affected by this tragedy.”
The university said it provides advice and other resources to students they might need.

The Erie Medical County Center confirmed on Saturday that a total of 21 patients of the accident were treated in the hospital.
Of the 21 patients, seven, three patients in the monitoring unit awaiting discharge, six patients were accepted in a stable condition, and five patients remain in the intensive care unit of shocks.
It is not clear whether any additional victims have been transferred to other region hospitals.

the National Transport Safety Council (NTSB) told Fox News Digital on Friday that he was sending a team to go to investigate. The bus was transferred to state police barracks as a guide.
