Kilmar Abugo Garcia was released from prison in Tennessee on Friday so that he could join his family in Maryland while awaiting human charges.
The Salvadwan National case became a flash point in the migration agenda in US President Donald Trump after he was mistakenly deported in March. In the face of an order from the court, the Trump administration brought him back to the United States in June, only for his detention on criminal charges.
Although Alago Garcia was eligible to release before the trial, he remained in prison at the request of his lawyer, who were afraid that the Republican administration would try to try to deport him immediately if he was released.
These concerns have been somewhat calm by a recent ruling in a separate case in Maryland, which requires immigration officials to allow Parisia to the time of challenging any deportation.

“We will not stop fighting until this Silvadorian man faces justice and leaves our country,” Nayyu said.
