(Reuters) -Google concluded a six -year cloud computing deal with identification platforms worth more than $ 10 billion, a source familiar with Reuters said on Thursday, the second major giant agreement for the search giant recently after one with Openai.

Under the agreement, Meta will use Google Cloud servers, store them, networks and other services, the source said, which asked not to be called because the discussions are confidential.

Google and Meta did not immediately respond to the suspension requests.

The deal was reported for the first time through information.

The news comes after the comments of the CEO of Meta Mark Zuckerberg in July that the company will spend hundreds of billions of dollars to build many artificial intelligence data centers.

The company raised the bottom end of the annual capital expenses expectations of $ 2 billion, to a range between 66 billion dollars to 72 billion dollars last month.

Meta is seeking external partners to help it finance the huge infrastructure needed to operate artificial intelligence by emptying $ 2 billion of data center assets, the company was revealed in a file earlier this month.

In June, Reuters reported that Openai is planning to add the ALPHABET Google Cloud service to meet its growing computing ability, a sudden cooperation between prominent competitors in the artificial intelligence sector.

Amid these waves of deals, the Google Parent cloud unit offered a leap of approximately 32 % in the revenue of the second quarter in July, which exceeded expectations.
