A military official said that the reserve soldiers would inform the duty in September and that most of the forces that were filled for the attack will be employees of active service.
They added that the forces were already operating in the Zeitoun and JABALIA regions as part of the preparations for the plan, which were approved by the Defense Minister of Israel Katz on Tuesday and will be placed in the security cabinet later this week.
Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza City are expected to be asked to evacuate and go to shelters in southern Gaza.

Israel has not yet provided an official response, but on Tuesday, Israeli officials insisted that they would not accept a partial deal and asked a comprehensive that would see all the hostages issued. Only 20 of them are believed to be alive.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement that the orders of the summons of 60,000 reserve soldiers were issued on Wednesday as part of the preparations for the “next stage of Gideon operation vehicles” – the ground attack that was launched in May and witnessed the control of at least 75 % of Gaza.
In addition, 20,000 reserve soldiers who have already called will receive a notice that extends their current orders.
The military official said that senior leaders had agreed to the plan for what they described as “a gradual and accurate process and targeting in and around Gaza City,” with the forces entering some areas where they did not go previously.
The official added that five sections are expected to participate in the attack.

United Nations and non -governmental organizations working in Gaza have warned of the humanitarian influence of a new Israeli attack.
“The Israeli plan to intensify military operations in Gaza City will have a terrible human impact on people who have already exhausted, malnutrition, density, displaced, and deprivation of the basics necessary to survive,” they said in a joint statement on Monday.
They added: “Forcing hundreds of thousands to move in the south is a recipe for more disasters and can rise to forced transport.” The forced transition of civilian residents is a serious violation of international humanitarian law.
They also said that the southern regions, where the displaced residents were expected to move “are crowded and not equipped to maintain the survival of people on a large scale.”
The ICRC said on Wednesday that the intensification of military operations threatened “an irreversible humanitarian crisis” and that the hostage of the hostages was also at risk. It is believed that some of them are held in Gaza City.
