Share some of the best work tips since I have worked at home for many years so far. I know that a few of you are working remotely, too, so please share the most important productivity or breaches in the comments!
Hello friends! I hope you are fine and enjoy today. I have a Podcast interview this morning and we have the pleasure of home/dance/usual basketball today.
Today, I wanted to chat a little about working from home and Brainstrom some tips with you all.
Friends of the Og reader are familiar with this story, but I started the blog when we lived in Valdosta, GA. I just started working as a personal coach and left the retail management world, and ended up growing into something that I never imagined. I would like to be able to communicate with all of you, and every day, I am very grateful for freedom of work and earn an income from home while I am able to be here for children.
I know that many friends there run a company from home, or work away. It is a kind of “new natural” and I love it is an option. Since the epidemic, the way we think about work has turned completely: home offices have replaced rooms, video conversations were replaced by conference halls, and cafes became new work centers. Frankly? It comes with a lot of benefits: Comfort, flexibility, less transmission, often a better shot in the balance of real action life.
But this is the truth: working from a distance or working from home is not always easy. Without the right strategies, you can feel isolated, overwhelming, or even uncut.
Today, I wanted to share some of the preferred remote tips that will help you live the best life life for you, whether you are at home, office or cafe.
Tips for remote
I think understanding what is really action is the key. It does not only work in pajamas or respond to phone calls from the sofa. It comes to designing systems, routine and habits that keep you productive, connected and achieved.
These tips aim to work remotely to help you not only “get”, but in reality you succeed and grow and enjoy your work of home setting. I also wanted to include advice for my friends who actually work for a company, because working for yourself is a different monster. (If you want to do more behind the scenes, I will be happy to do this too!)
What does work mean remotely?
In essence, work means a distance to perform your job outside the traditional office. This may mean creating a home office, working from a café, or even doing your work while traveling. Unlike traditional jobs, there is no refrigerated chat for water, and the morning does not move, and there is no president walking through your office every 20 minutes.
The biggest difference? Freedom and responsibility. You have more say during your working hours, your business space, and your daily rhythm, but you also need discipline and creativity to stay focus.
Work is no longer just a feature; It is a completely new way to organize work and life.
How to make remote work successful
How to remain productive while working from a distance
Advice: Create a “transport rituals” (even if they are fake)
One of the most difficult parts of work remotely is to switch from “home status” to “work mode”. Check your mind with small rituals: wander around the mass, make a special coffee, or listen to a 5 -minute pump running menu before sitting on your office. It indicates your mind that your working hours have started.
Advice: Hate your business space
Skip the chaos. Add plants, salt lamp, or even a candle, to the preparation of your home office. Research shows that environmental signals affect productivity- so make your space inspiring.
Reward: No one prevents you from hanging flashing lamps or setting up a vicious circle office. I love my walking pillow and use it often all day.
Advice: Work in time blocks
Since it is very easy for me to distract me, I will prevent my time until I only focus on one specific task for that time period.
How do you ask for an increase when working from a distance
Advice: Collection “receipts”
It is easy for contributions away from being passed without anyone noticing them. Keep the operating document of the victories: the projects were completed, the comments of the client, and the final dates. When the time comes, you will have data to support your request (it is difficult for the president to say no when that is in front of them directly).
How to build relationships during remote work
Advice: Table phone calls other than work
Not everything should be about deliveries. Put “apparent coffee conversations” in your calendar. These 15 -minute informal calls with coworkers mimic office water and help you stay in contact with more than stagnation messages.
How to communicate effectively when working for a distance
Advice: embrace vocal notes
Haaaate I write anything more than a few camels. A quick audio note (via Slack, Voxer or WhatsApp) can allow things faster and add warmth. In this way, they can actually know what it means from your voice tone, instead of confusing the emojis.
How to wear a distance clothes
Advice: Adoption of “Buri Zoom”
Business on top, warm at the bottom. Invest in a few “energy peaks” (bright colors, sharp collars) that make you look polished on video calls – while they remain a break or run hidden below the office. I do this all the time Lol.
How to feel contact when working remotely
Advice: Start the ritual “third space”
When you are not in the office, life can feel like an endless loop from home and home …. House. Dismantle it by working once a week from a café or library. This creates a “third space” that keeps your brain stimulating and makes the work feel refreshed. I also find that I am more productive in the cafe.
How to provide taxes as a remote worker
Tip: Create a digital “shoe box”
Prepare a cloud folder called “Tax”. Every time you buy something related to the work.-Whether it is a new chair, program, program, or Wi-Fi-Cafe-drop the receipt. Come to the tax season, your discounts are organized, and old email messages will not be diversified. We use Bookieper to track everything – I have been sent to them for twine every month – and this makes it much easier.
Reward: Protecting your energy
Remote work makes it easy to obliterate the borders. Protect your energy by placing solid “closing rituals” at the end of your working hours: close the laptop, candle, walk, or direct directly to the exercise.
Do you need some ideas? Check my list from Experimental experimentation It can help you reset between tasks.
Far work is more than just a different setting: it’s a lifestyle transformation. Through the right procedures, borders and creative disk, you can design a remote work life that supports your productivity, relationships and wellness in general.
So, tell me, friends: How many of you work from home in exchange for preparing the office? Do you use a work space or a café?
Please drop all productivity breakthroughs here too!
