Alexander Isak has publicly interrogated his future in Newcastle on Tuesday evening, claiming that promises were broken and suggested that “the relationship cannot continue.”

The 25 -year -old striker made statements in a post on the social media that was issued during the PFA Football Player Awards for the year, adding that “the change is in the interest of everyone, not just me.”

It is understood that Liverpool is his favorite destination if he left St. James Park.

Newcastle moved quickly to address the situation with their own statement, which shows that no guarantees have been given at all to Sweden International due to a possible exit.

Newcastle statement in full reading:

“We are disappointed that we were alerted to a post on social media by Alexander Issak this evening.

“We are clear in response that Alex is still under the contract and that the club official has not been committed that Alex can leave Newcastle United this summer.

“We want to keep our best players, but we also understand that the players have their own desires and listen to their views. As he explained to Alex and its representatives, we must always take into account the best interests of Newcastle United, the team and our supporters in all decisions, and we were clear that the conditions for selling this summer were not transferred.

“We do not expect those conditions that are fulfilled.

“This is a proud football club with proud traditions and we are striving to keep our family’s feeling. Alex remains part of our family and will be welcomed when he is ready to join his teammates.”

Although the club’s drafting was firm, it has been significantly stopped getting out of departure, instead confirms that the terms of transportation – which are believed to sign an alternative and fees approaching its evaluation of 150 million pounds – has not yet been fulfilled.

Liverpool, who has shown strong interest in the attacker, is expected to test Newcastle’s position through an improved offer before the transfer window was closed on September 1.

However, any deal that depends on securing Newcastle is another striker in time.
