The shares of Intel Corp jumped by 23.1 percent a week, as investors in the heart took the potential financial support of the United States government in an attempt to support the long besieged chips maker.

After being criticized at Intel Corp (Nasdaq: Intc) earlier this month, and the company’s CEO, LIP-BU Tan, called for immediate resignation, President Donald Trump seemed to have taken a role in the wake of a meeting, saying that he was “very interesting.”

“His success and height is an amazing story,” Trump said of Tan.

According to what was reported, the United States government was ready to support the chips maker by obtaining a large share in its shares.

Quoting people familiar with this issue, Bloomberg said that the government is considering exploiting funds from the 2022 chips law.

Intel Corp (Nasdaq: Intc), which was once the largest chip maker in the world, has fought over the past few decades amid intense competition in industry and changing visions of companies from its former leaders.

Last year, Intel Corp. announced. (NASDAQ: INTC) officially on plans to start a plan to restructure companies in an attempt to return to profitability. The initiative included a reduction of at least 15 percent of the total workforce, which reduced operating expenses and capital expenditures, and leaving companies to raise funds, among other things.
