The Palestinians leave Gaza City for fear of the Israeli attack, while others remain in their situation, and they called for a ceasefire

For fear of the imminent Israeli attack, thousands of Palestinians left their homes in the eastern parts of Gaza City, now under constant bombing, to obtain points to the west and the south in the broken lands.

Israel’s plan to control Gaza City has sparked a warning abroad and at home, as tens of thousands of Israelis have held some of the biggest protests since the war began, and urged an agreement to end the fighting and liberate the remaining fifty by Palestinian fighters in Gaza since October 7.

“The people of Gaza City are like a person who has received a death penalty and is waiting for death,” said Tamer Bourai, a businessman in Gaza City.

“I move my parents and my family to the south today or tomorrow. I cannot risk the loss of any of them in the event of an amazing invasion,” he told Reuters on the chat application.

Dozens of Palestinians held a demonstration in Gaza City on Thursday, a lawsuit to the war and forced displacement, and for enthusiasm to intensify the talks to avoid the Israeli attack.

“Our message is the same: an appeal to humanity. For the world and those who gathered in Cairo, clear enough, sufficient death,” Mohamed Al -Jaro, 37, told CBC News in Gaza City.

“We are a country to Egypt, our country (neighboring), to apply pressure on everyone to put an immediate interruption of this war, regardless of its cost.”

Umm Ahmed Al -Banna, 36, says that Hamas’s demands are not in line with what she and others invite.

“All we ask is peace and safety for our children,” said Al -Banna, who is a widow of four widow. “Psychological warfare kills us mentally. We die slow death every day.”

About 1,000 families have already escaped south

The Israeli armored incursion into Gaza City can replace hundreds of thousands of people, many of whom have been uprooted several times during the war.

Ahmed Muhasin, director of the Palestinian shelter in Beit Lahia, one of its suburbs that were disposed of in the war in eastern Gaza, said that 995 families left the Gaza City area in recent days for the south.
