New York Mets overthrew Seattle Mariners 7-3, which gave the Amaz the first victory in a row since last month, when they defeated San Francisco’s giants 2-1 on July 26 and July 27. As of writing this report, Mets was 1.5 games before Cincinnati Reds for third place for the wild card in the National League.
“Winning is fun. Winning brings people together,” New York Shorestop Francisco Lindor said at the press conference yesterday. “When you go through difficult times, the good teams make a conversation with each other. When you win, it celebrates a little more.”
After the first non-quiet half, the Mets team got things going in the second to advance 3-0. New York easily managed to deal with the Seattle Cherby jug, who gave up 12 visits, ran the house, and seven runs in the loss.
“I will return to that first in Bat from Mark Vientos, when he gets the contestants in the registration mode and tries to get a land ball there,” The director of Mets Carlos Mendoza said after winning. “Two good heavens really took and then set out in the area, and he was able to get this bump. But I think it was generally, we were aggressive, especially with his fast ball. We have done well.”
It was a great evening for the third base man Mark Ventuz. End the game with two visits, run the house, and four RBis.
“I was just trying to see a quick ball in the area, medium middle,” Ventus explained. “I know he had a good procedure from diodes on fast ball. So I was just trying to see him in the middle of the middle, and I am not trying to do a lot. We talked about (that) before the game, and I thought it was a good game plan.”
After taking it out of the second half, Seattle got one at the top of the fourth. Unfortunately for Mariners, Mets responded with three other runs in the fifth part of the fifth to extend the forefront to 7-1, partially due to HOMER from three runs of Vientos.
“So far this year, it hasn’t been easy for him,” Mendoza said of Ventuz. “He plays one game, and he may sit for a few of them. It is not an easy role, but this is similar to the correspondence with him and some of the younger players, just as they are ready. And to the credit for that, (I) is proud of it because we have a big game of this year. Tonight.
Through the 7-1 feature, Mets will not only allow Mariners to score two other halves before winning last night match to give Al-Amaz their victory in the first series in three weeks.
“It is a good feeling, it is a good feeling. But again, one day in a mental time,” Mindoza said. “We need to start the winning chain. We know that we are good. It was harsh. It was difficult for us all, but we don’t look back now. All we have to do is to be worried about what we need to do today to get a series W and continue to win. I am happy that we were able to do this time.”
“You know, it’s a good thing at the moment, but at the end of the day, we enjoy tonight,” said Francisco Lindor. “It was a great day in general, then turned the page.”
Mets outside the day while traveling to Washington to take over the citizens. The first stadium is scheduled to be in that game tomorrow at 6:45 pm EST.
