When Gaurav Sharma received a sudden meeting on the morning of July 22, 2020, he told his wife, “I’m about to lay off.” Within an hour, his doubts were confirmed.

This was followed by the emotional Rollercoasster for 33 days, testing his determination, relationships and belief in himself. Now co -manager, FP & A in Pyramid Consulting, Sharma shared his demobilization journey in LinkedIn – a honest account with brutal wound to the thousands of people who move in non -confirmed job markets.

At 10:30 am, met with human resources and director. In the midst of shock, “sigh” when he told him that health insurance would continue until November. By 11:30, he was re -calibrating his life – and vital for the next six months and called his bank to restructure his home loan. That afternoon, he went on foot, communicated with close friends and family, and prepared for the next.

The next day, Charma has refined his autobiography, reactivated LinkedIn, and sent messages across WhatsApp collections. But behind the crowd, the pain ripens. “I went to the bathroom, put an empty bucket below, supervised the tap, and cried abundantly,” he wrote. Then he went out, and before his four -year -old child, he told his wife, “Things will succeed.”

During the following days, he strongly made the network. I got an interview with an HCL. He was hoping – until the situation was suddenly suspended. ACCENTURE had an interview with him after that and told him that he was chosen, only for human resources for the offer to decrease later due to the budget limits. Offer to join a lower salary. They refused. “He went to the bathroom, put the bucket below, took the tap, cried my lungs,” he wrote. Once again, wearing strength appeared.

On August 5, a senior communication with a recruiter of Snoints Solutions suggested. The recruiter was nice, followed by interviews. The operation was slow and unconfirmed – but on August 24, the letter was finally arrived.

“This time, tears were different,” said Sharma. “I embraced my wife, accepted my child, and thanked my God.”
