The mass protests held throughout Israel calling for the end of the Gaza war, the release of the hostages

Thousands of Israelis participated in a strike on Sunday to support the hostages of the hostages held in Gaza, and called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reach an agreement with Hamas to end the war and release the remaining prisoners.

Israeli police said 38 protesters were arrested by 2 pm local time. Some demonstrators block roads with the police, and the officers transported them.

The demonstrations were stopped throughout the country for a short time at 4 pm local time when the alarm siren in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and other places looked, with a warning from a import missing from Yemen. The missile was intercepted without an accident.

On Sunday, Netanyahu told the Council of Ministers: “Those who are calling today to end the war without defeating Hamas not only crucify Hamas’s position and delay the launch of our hostages. They also guarantee that the horrors of October 7 over and over again.”

Negotiations on the ceasefire could have witnessed more hostages that were released in July. The Palestinian militants group, Hamas, said that it will not liberate the remaining hostages unless Israel agreed to end the war, while Netanyahu pledged that Hamas could not remain in power.

The Israeli government has faced sharp criticism at home and abroad, including some of its closest European allies, to announce that the army will soon require Gaza City.
