Manchester United, President of Manchester United, rejected suggestions that he needed to enhance goalkeepers options, despite the mistake in the ALTay Bayindir in the 1-0 defeat against Arsenal at the weekend in the Premier League.

Payende, who prefers him before Andre Eunana at Old Trafford, failed to deal with a corner of Deklan Rice that allowed Ricardo Calviuri to go to the only goal of the game.

Onana, who was absent from the pre -season season with the knee strings, returned to full training last week but was not included in the team.

Amorim, however, stood beside his goalkeeper when he was interrogated after the match.

“I am happy with the three goalkeepers,” Amorim said. “Bayindir chooses to get the ball, but it is pushed. This is my feeling when I see the play.

“I chose to pay a player (away from the road) or to get the ball at that moment. He needs to use his hands to catch the ball, not paying the players. He chooses to pay the players and allow the ball to pass.”

Bayindir’s starting decision was a surprise, especially since Amorim has confirmed on Friday that Onana was fit for the advantage. But he insisted that Cameroon did not “drop”.

“I did not drop Unana from the team,” Amorim said. “This is not the case in ONana. It does not put Andre onana in just one week without seeing the game, without time, with training.

“Tom (Hitton) and Baydende, during the pre -season period, did a good job.”

Despite the narrow defeat, United invented many good opportunities, and it can be said that it was the strongest side for long periods. Patrick Durgo struck this position in the first half, while Matthews forced her being and Bray Mbumo to save them from Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya.

“This feeling that we played better,” Amorim said. “We were the best team, but in the end we lost the game. I am really proud of the work they put in the field and this is important to move forward.

“We have proven today that we can win any game in the Premier League, especially against a great team like Arsenal, and we were the best team.”

The match also highlighted the possible changes in the attack options in United. Rasmos Holund, who was completely left from the team, faces the increasing certainty of his future.

Reports in the attacker, who joined United in 2023, linked to Milan. “Hojlund is a good choice for us. We are thinking about it but in the transport market you never know what can happen.”

Meanwhile, Benjamin Cisco’s new arrival from the bench was introduced against artillery after it was revealed to the Old Trafford crowd in advance. Amorim suggested that the husband is in direct competition.

“It is a battle for places,” Amorim said. “We’ll see what will happen on the market. There are different properties. Rasmus has the same features of Benjamin Sesko, so we need to choose.”
