Share some preparatory ideas for meals for children, especially because we are in the school season. We have also done a task to reduce packed snacks, but I still store the basics of the store and drinks from Market flourishing. < - My link gets a 40 % discount on your first request

Hello friends! How are you? I hope you enjoy the week so far. We find our new routine with the status of Homschool + LIV takes a break from dance (it is Muslim that I am a little sad, but certainly do not miss driving there 30 minutes and return twice a day). Now that we were on the lunch round again, there are some things that you tried to do in a different way.

Prepare a meal for children and reduce packed snacks

– Preparatory meal ton.

It is very useful to have a refrigerator filled with snacks and snacks.

Here are some things that I make every week:

Preparing fruits. If there is fruit, ready to go in the refrigerator, they will completely eat it instead of seizing a packed strip or treatment. Watermelon in the season, which is very good at the present time, so I recently captured a couple of different watermelon (especially children who love Piel De Sapo and Golden Watermelon) and cut them to store them in glass containers. I also soak berries in water and vinegar for 2-5 minutes (one part of vinegar to 3 parts of the water), rinse, and let them dry completely. Then I put paper towels at the bottom of a glass container with a lid. It lasts much longer in this way! We usually do a mixture of berries: strawberry, berries, berries and berries. I also soak grapes and peaches in water + vinegar for 15 minutes, dry, and store in an open glass bowl in the refrigerator. Children will hold a handful of grapes throughout the day and I like to eat more fruit!

Energy bites. I have a few different recipes here on the blog (like this!) But the favorite are equal parts of cashews, dates of drilling, cinnamon, a little salt, vanilla extract and spray from maple syrup.

(This is why I am not taking pictures of the blog anymore anymore)

Protein preparatory: Chicken tearing and crushed beef Egg bites

Preparing vegetables: I will peel and cut some cucumber, sweet pepper and carrots. It is easy for them to serve themselves and retreat in homemade chickpeas or ghogs. They also like to be ready.

to retreat: Chickpeas and Guacamole are the favorite fan here.

Breakfast optionslike Egg bitesOats overnight, breakfast cookies (they still love these!), Bodeng Xia. I also make avocado in the BFST game for a school day and serve with Applegate Breakfast.

– Something different/new/fun every week. This may be like chicken salad or pasta, or Spanish tortilla, quiche, or a cold pasta dish with vegetables and protein that can easily get out of the refrigerator on their own.

Reducing packed snacks.

We still have the Go-TOS, which I will include below, but the fact is that a lot of packed snacks are expensive and do not have great ingredients. I can make 20 homemade energy bites of a 2 small package in Whole Foods. Our snacks were a large part of our crazy grocery budget, and it is very easy to make it at home and customize them to children.

Some of the bottled snacks that we still buy:

Nuts, dried fruits, trail mix

– Canned beans (for chickpeas!) They also love Lupini snacks from Thrive

Sea snacks

Gomacro bars

Vegetable packages

Cheese the size of snacks

– cheese

Xia bags

– Crazy

Popcorn chips or Siete

Delicious meat – They will wrap it with cream cheese or mayonnaise

Sardine. Usually, I melt the sardines, but the children will eat them directly from the box

– Simple MLLS products (such as crackers, cookies and bread mixing)

Some of the discoveries of my favorite Thrive market and health brands are present in this post.

Return to plan to plan dinner and prepare as much as possible during the day.

We have made a lot of dinner on flying since we got home from Spain, especially since the pilot is working/traveling a lot. Back to school was the kick in the pants that you needed to start planning and make more dinner, instead of eating at the last minute or Hodge Podge random meals. (Also, I found that I really have to plan to prepare and prepare dinner when I am single and motherhood because by the time when we get home from sport, it is time for dinner.)

Some of my favorite paternity and maternity dinner in this post!

Tell me, friends: What are some domestic snacks for children?

xo
