Samsung is the 800-pound gorilla of CES, a global electronics giant that produces mobile devices, televisions, home theater products, and kitchen appliances — to name a few. It’s traditionally used at CES to remind the world that it’s a major competitor in all of these areas, while also offering a peek behind the curtain at some cutting-edge technology.

In 2024, for example, Samsung’s press conference at CES covered all the usual iterative updates – New TVs, New projectors, New sound bars — but it also showcased some really futuristic products. What to expect at Samsung’s CES 2025 press conference

Or maybe Bali will be more independent this time. This would fit better with the “AI for Everyone: Every Day, Everywhere” theme that the company announced for its Las Vegas show. The Korea-based giant has posted several weeks of early CES announcements at its showcase Online newsroompromotes AI-powered refrigerators and appliances with built-in screens. But there are also non-AI things: Samsung previously announced 27-inch QD-OLED gaming monitorand the company is teaming up with Google (!) to introduce Eclipsa, a new 3D audio technology that is apparently intended to be an alternative to Dolby Atmos and DTS.

One thing you shouldn’t expect to see in Vegas: the supposed Galaxy S25 smartphone line. If it follows its recent schedule, Samsung will likely unveil this phone in the second half of January, when it will highlight the tech news for itself. (Last year was the January 17 event, which was announced on January 11.)
