“If I want to talk to him or if I have what I say, I am able to contact him whenever you want it,” Weber told exclusively US weekly On Friday, August 8. “But he has a wife and has children and now, he is struggling with something … This is a big thing.”
In May, Joel, 76, canceled the remaining dates of his tour of 2025 after he revealed that he had been diagnosed with normal pressure, a brain condition in which an abnormal amount of disorder liquid accumulates, causing problems in walking, memory and balance.
“Therefore, (our relationship) is close to being close to two people who decided to divorce 40 years ago,” Weber continued, adding that she “of course” is communicating with her ex -husband amid his health diagnosis.
Billy Joel and former wife, Christie Brinkley, are about to be in the years that followed her divorce. The former couple linked the knot in March 1985, and Alexa’s daughter welcomes in December. Nearly 10 years of marriage, Joel and Brunkley divorced in August 1994.
We met Weber Joel for the first time when she was married to his best friend and former colleague, John Small. The couple was involved in a later relationship, which led to the disintegration of the band and Joel fighting from severe depression that included two attempts to commit suicide. He was re -contacted later after Weber divorced and married in 1973, when he spent nearly 10 years together before completing their marriage in 1982. Joel continued to marry Christie Brinkley In 1985, the welcome daughter Alexa Ray Joel Before calling her resignation in 1994. Joel then married the author of the cooking book Kati Li In 2004 – the husband divorced five years later in 2009. In 2015, Joel married Alex Rodrik. The husband shares two children, Rose Joel and Remy Ann Joel.

While talking to weWeber said that her son and grandchildren also know and somewhat approach Joel.
“I have my grandchildren that they know they know,” she explained. “My granddaughter, Ella Bell, learned that he was not tied, and showed him what was happening. His relationship with Sean is important to both of them.”
Not only is Billy Joel the piano man, but he is also a dedicated family man. Weber said that her son Sean and Joel “were very close,” adding that during their three marriage, “they lived over the mountain.”
“We enjoyed each other,” she explained. “Bell and I have worked all day and did not do the entire writing process – in the years in which I and I and I – this was never done from a dimension or in studio (A). This happened in our living room, and Sean was an integral part.”
