Firefighters have brought huge fires in southern France, but the local authorities warned on Sunday that the severe heat and dry conditions may cause the fire to recover again as parts of the Mediterranean region carry a heat wave, where the temperatures are expected to reach 42 degrees Celsius in some areas.
