The demonstrators in Jerusalem meet at the residence of Prime Minister Netanyahu

The demonstrators moved in support of the hostages to the streets of Jerusalem and walked towards the residence of Prime Minister Netanyahu to express their anger at the Gaza City seizure plan.

The former soldier, Max Krish, walked, holding a sign that I read, “I refused.”

“We are more than 350 soldiers who served during the war and refused to continue serving in the political war of Netanyahu,” said to the BBC.

The protests occurred throughout Israel in cities like Haifa. Thousands of people also gather in Tel Aviv.

Israel’s decision to expand its war in Gaza has sparked a condemnation from the United Nations and many countries, including the United Kingdom, France and Canada, and prompted Germany to stop military exports to Israel.

The plan, which is approved by the Israeli security cabinet, is listed by five “principles” to end the war: the disarmament of Hamas, the return of all hostages, the increase of the Gaza Strip, the security control of the region, and the establishment of “an alternative civil administration, neither Hamas nor the Palestinian Authority.”
