A “Breaking Bad” house in New Mexico is on the market for $3.9 million

Breaking Bad aired on AMC for five seasons, from 2008 to 2013, and even though the show ended more than a decade ago, fans continue to visit the famous house, much to the dismay of its current owner, Joan Quintana.

In a recent interview with Albuquerque television station KOB-TV, Quintana admitted that they didn’t mind the fan visits at first, but the get-togethers quickly became too much. After her parents died, she and her siblings decided to sell the house.

“This has been our family home since 1973, almost 52 years. So, we will leave with only our memories. It is time to move on. We are done. There is no reason to fight anymore,” Quintana explained.

While filming the popular show, Quintana’s family became close to the cast and crew. While speaking with the TV station, Quintana shared some behind-the-scenes secrets from the set, including that her mother Fran always baked cookies for everyone during filming.

“The funny thing is, Bryan Cranston couldn’t eat a single cookie. Because he had cancer on the show, so he was losing weight. So, it was working, but everyone — all the directors, all the writers — was eating cookies. And on the last day of shooting He took a picture holding mom’s cookies because he finally ate her cookies.
