“They have a lot of mobility and struggle to find the right moment of pressure. But then we controlled the game and I think we had a lack of liquidity in the game. We can do what is better.
“But I think it was an ideal game to prepare it to show that we need to improve in various areas we will fight at some moments. But sometimes we have players who can play and raise the stadium.”
The new boys are still walking in
United has greatly strengthened in the transfer window, bringing Matthews being, Brian Mbyo, Benjamin Cisco and Diego Leon.
Cunha and MBEUMO were the starting assortment against the Italian side. However, Amorim feels that there is a lot to come from his new signatures.
“I think they may be 50 or 60 percent of what they can do,” Amorim explained. “I think, like any other team, we will improve during the season and they will be much better.
“In some moments, I felt that we needed that raised against her, as we fought without a sign as a striker. We have a new player, so we will see.”
The Portuguese coach also alluded to a health competition within the team, and urged the players to win their place to double Arsenal through training.
Amom said: “This is a good thing, it is supposed to be like this, and not like last season when we had to struggle to put 11 players on the field.”
“This is a normal thing, so I must think and have to fight during the week so that they can change my opinion. I have one idea, but they can change my opinion during the week.
“It will be difficult (training before Arsenal). We are trying to arrange a whole week of training, so we will have a truly powerful glazing with time to work. Then we will break a little.”
