Shark Tank India season 4 returns on Monday with more drama and heated exchanges. Its latest promo shows YouTuber Gaurav Taneja promoting his whey protein brand, backed by an astonishing achievement – sales worth Rs 1 crore within an hour, even with a password-protected website.

Shark Aman Gupta could not hide his admiration: “This is a dream for many companies.” Vinita Singh echoed this sentiment with simple but awestruck words: “Oh my God.”

The conversation turned witty when Taneja quipped: “Shark, aaj kal har Founder ko Influencerbanne ka kida aa gya hai” (These days, it seems like every founder has a desire to become an influencer). “Aur Influencer ko Founderbanne ka” (And it looks like influencers want to become founders) was Vinita Singh’s sharp response.

Taneja’s partner shared the success story of his whey protein venture, leaving the Sharks visibly impressed. The duo’s ability to generate sales worth INR 1 Crore very quickly highlighted the power of influence-based branding. Aman Gupta hailed their achievement as something most companies only dream of.

The promo also teased heated moments between returning shark Aman Gupta and newcomer Kunal Bahl. Bahl’s bullish investment bids – Rs 4 lakh to close one round and Rs 8 lakh for another – have sparked competition among the sharks. Gupta didn’t hold back, saying, “This is your first time on Shark Tank,” to which Bahl confidently responded, “But this isn’t my first time making deals.”

This season highlights talent from small towns and bold entrepreneurs with bold valuations. A Rs 250-crore valuation prompted Aman Gupta to shout, “Hum pagal hain kya?” (Are we crazy?) Another team’s Rs 300-crore valuation left the committee equally stunned. However, some offers have inspired bidding wars, underscoring the scope of the entrepreneurial ambition on display.

One notable demonstration was an artificial intelligence device capable of recording conversations and collecting data about acquaintances. Anupam Mittal, one of the founding investors in the project, described this technology as “no different from magic.”
