The US Air Force said on Thursday that it would deprive all the members of the transgender service who have served between 15 and 18 years old, and instead it will force them to go out without the benefits of retirement.
The Air Force Sergeant said he was “betrayed and destroyed” because of this step.
This step means that the transgender members-who are already faced expulsion under the Trump Administration policy-are now facing the choice of either procedure to pay a cut separation to the beginner forces or remove it from the service.
“Although the members of the service between the ages of 15 to 18 years of service are allowed to apply for an exception to politics, no of the exceptions of politics have been approved,” Air Force Air Force spokesman told the Associated Press.
About ten members of the service were “notified” that they will be able to retire before this decision was reversed, according to the official spokesman, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the internal air force policy.
All transgender members in the Air Force are separated from service under the Trump administration policies. US President Donald Trump has released a number of executive orders targeting the rights of the transgender community and dismantling the rules of anti -discrimination since his election, which has sparked widespread condemnation and fear between 2SLGBTQ+groups.
The Monday note, which announced the new policy, which was reviewed by the Associated Press, said that the choice of rejecting retirement benefits “after carefully considering individual requests.”
“It is a destructive matter,” said Shannon Minter of the National Center for LGBTQ. “This is just a betrayal of the direct commitment that has been clarified to the service members.”

Minter said that the financial impact on the members of the transgender service will be severe, which costs them hundreds of thousands of dollars over their lives in the benefits that were rejected due to the Trump administration policy.
The move comes after the Pentagon was granted permission in early May by the Supreme Court to proceed with a ban on all the sexual transformers operating in the army. Days later, Defense Minister PETE HegSth announced a policy that would currently present the public transformer forces to volunteer the option to leave and take great secession payments for one time or are involuntarily dismissed at a later time.
A Pentagon official told reporters in May that they looked at politics as being treated “anyone affected by dignity and respect.”
However, in late July, the Military.com forces told that they find the entire separation process, which included returning their service records to the gender of her birth, “inhuman” or “open cruelty”.
The expected lawsuits
Shannon Lerry, a lawyer who represents 2LGBTQ+ in the cases of discrimination in employment, says she expects to challenge lawsuits on Thursday. “It seems completely arbitrary on his face and cruel,” she said. “These military members have devoted their lives to serve our country.”
Lerry usually said when early retirement is provided in the army, it is available to all members who have served more than 15 years. She said she expects other service branches to follow the air force path.
Logan Ireland, the main US Air Force Sergeant who has 15 years of service, including deployment in Afghanistan, is one of the pilots who were affected by this policy. “I feel betrayal and destruction from the news,” he said.
Ireland said he was told that his retirement was rejected on Wednesday when he told him that his leadership chain was “tears in their eyes.”
Officials said there are 4,240 sexually transgender soldiers in the US National Service. The defenders of the rights of transgender gave higher estimates.
Under the last policy, until June 6, the active service forces had voluntarily identifying themselves and receiving batches while the forces in the National Guard had and kept them until July 7. Pentagon officials have told reporters that they were planning to rely on the current leaders and annual medical offers to find any members of the transgender people who have not applied.
