Daniel Levy, Tottenham Chairman, says he expects fans to estimate his heritage only as soon as he moves away from the club.
Levy has held control in Spears since 2001 and has often been a divisive figure among supporters.
While the club witnessed developments in the main infrastructure during its term-the most prominent of which is the construction of the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on the latest £ 1 billion-the fans expressed their frustration with the lack of prizes and the inability to benefit from the Premier League seasons such as the Premier League title in 2016 and 2017, or the unforgettable round to the final match of the 2019 championship.

However, this growth outside the scheme was not reflected through the consistent achievement in the field.
“Nothing has changed in terms of our ambition,” Levi insisted. “After she won the European League – thank you for Ang – she tastes it, but it’s not enough. It was never enough.
“We were in 16 or 17 semi -final, seven finals, and we did not win enough.
“We know that we need to use this as a starting point to continue winning. We won prizes in the past twenty years. We have been very close, many times.”
Clicking on the reason Tottenham is struggling to translate the capabilities into a steady success, Levi presented an explicit acceptance.
“I cannot answer (why), because I am not the person who chooses the team, motivates the team.”
Another new era
Looking forward, Levy puts his belief in the new coach Thomas Frank, who joined Brentoord after the departure of Busquoglu.
Frank Spears will lead to the Premier League 2025-26 campaign with his first competitive match on August 16 at home against Burnley.
He will do this without the club’s icon, Hyung Min Suh, who will leave after a decade of service. The South Korean striker received a heartfelt in a match on Sunday before the season against Newcastle in Seoul.
As Tottenham entered a new chapter, Levy called for patience and realistic expectations.
“He gets the football style that we want to play,” Levy said of Frank. “He realizes that Rome has not been built in one day. We did not put it,” you have to win the league this year. “We just want to compete at the highest level.
