A New York judge in President-elect Donald Trump’s illicit funds case has rejected a motion to dismiss the lawsuit filed after his presidential election victory, ruling that he must be sentenced on Jan. 10, days before his inauguration. Judge Juan Merchan said he was not inclined to impose a prison sentence.
